    The SOMA/CZ T41-40 is a heavy-duty slitter rewinder machine engineered for converting operations in the paper, laminate, and plastic film industries. It processes materials such as 20–200 gsm paper, laminates, PP+PET (minimum 0.008 mm), and PE films (minimum 0.012 mm). The machine uses 20 automatically setting cutting knives to deliver precise slitting widths from a minimum of 35 mm up to 1600 mm. The unwinder supports parent rolls up to 1200 mm in diameter, while the rewind system produces finished rolls ranging from 200 to 800 mm and accommodates core sizes of 70, 76, 100, and 150 mm. It reaches operating speeds of up to 800 m/min, supporting high-volume production. The system integrates a web-guiding unit in the unwinder, a separate unwinding station, and a turret rewinding station with two shafts. It positions cores accurately with a laser system, unloads finished rolls automatically, and enables floor pick-up. The machine handles roll weights of up to 2000 kg at both the unwinding and rewinding stations, supporting demanding industrial applications.
