The Colines Polycast Multi-layer Cast Film Line is a sophisticated extrusion system designed for producing multi-layer cast films with flexible layer configurations (ACBCD/BBACD/DCABB). The system comprises 5 extruders with varying specifications: Extruders 1, 3, and 4 feature 90mm diameter screws with 200 kg/h output and 102 kW motors, while Extruder 2 utilizes a larger 140mm diameter screw with 700 kg/h capacity and 276 kW motor. All extruders are equipped with 3-component DOTECO gravimetric dosing modules with vacuum feeders and advanced temperature control via Fe-Cost thermocouples. The production line incorporates a CLOEREN/USA flat die with 3000mm lip width and computer-controlled lip adjustment system, featuring GemNi™ enhanced nickel plating for superior corrosion resistance. The chill roller section includes a primary 1000mm diameter roll (3100mm wide) and secondary 450mm diameter roll with independent AC motor drives, air knife positioning, and pneumatic/electrostatic edge pinning. Maximum line speed reaches 450 m/min with output capacity up to 1100 kg/hour depending on material formulation.
