Sortex B2 Optical colour sorter machine to sorting plastic flakes in the recycling process. The sorting machine Sortex B2 is able to sorter plastrics regrind from 2 to 14 mm flakes or regrind . The Sortex B2 combines three visible wavelengths and detects not only light and dark defects but also other colour varitions. - Advanced Inspection System The SORTEX B MultiVision™ combines three visible wavelengths (RGB) and detects not only light and dark defects but also other colour variations.
- LED Foreground Lighting The optical sorter machine uses LED visible lighting. Sorters equipped with standard InGaAs technology use combination of LED and Broad-spectrum Xenon IR lighting. PROsize™ Technology detects foreign material and defects which are the same colour as the good product by size (undersize or oversize). This proprietary Bühler technology is available on the MultiVision™ variant.
- Automated Background The sorters use an automated background reference which adjusts as light levels vary delivering consistent sorting performance.
- Vibratory feeders with low voltage drive coils and digital feedback control to give reliable operation and consistent feed over time. Customised feeding system uses food-contact safe anodized chutes for the specific application. Flexible sorting configurations also include simultaneous re-sort capability to maximise recovery of good product by achieving the highest reject concentration.
